Cambourne Sports Pavilion, Changing Rooms and Ground Maintenance Facility.

We were employed to design and install the mechanical and electrical installation for this project.

The building has 3 main uses comprising of Changing rooms with multiple showering areas, pavilion upstairs with bar area, toilets and kitchen facility and lastly a storage and office area for grounds maintenance staff.  

Heating was supplied via Under floor heating throughout the pavilion and changing areas with a radiator circuit to the maintenance storage area. Careful consideration was required in relation to the hot water supplies for the shower areas as potentially all 17 showers were required simultaneously with high demand but for a short space of time. The solution was to install a direct fired gas water storage heater with a buffer vessel.

The 10 week project was completed in August 2011 on time and within budget.
